Willow Newell ’25 presents a musical theatre recital Saturday

Willow Newell ’25 will present “Regalia,” a recital showcasing her favorite pieces perfected during her time as a musical theatre major at Carthage, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium.

Her vocal performance will highlight music of various styles and time periods and include songs from “Les Misérables,” “Wicked,” and several works from Disney. She will be accompanied by Yu Mei Chang M.M. ’22 on the piano.

The program will include:

• “I Get a Kick Out of You” from “Anything Goes”
• “Home” from “The Wiz”
• “Show Off” from “The Drowsy Chaperone”
• “Part of Your World” from “The Little Mermaid”
• “Reflection” from “Mulan”
• “The Wizard and I” from “Wicked”
